WHY AUCKLAND?

RECREATION

Waiheke Island.

Waiheke Island is the gem in Aucklands crown - a picturesque island a just a short ferry ride from the central city. Waiheke is a wine hub and is known for its seemingly untouched beaches, vast wineries, and luxurious resturants.

Restaurants.

Auckland is a proudly food-snob town; our melting-pot of a city means we have some of the most delicious food from all over the globe. Treat yourself at a five star degustation or cozy up in a mom-and-pop fish and chip shop - we have it all.

Activities.

Auckland is a never-ending trove of activities for every taste - from beautiful beaches a stones throw away, to Rainbows End theme park, to mesmerising hikes and natural beauty. If you like to surf or swim, come prepared as Tāmaki Makaurau has no shortage of watersports.

As if you needed any more reasons to visit New Zealand....In addition to its awesome people, incredible food, and breathtaking natural beauty, New Zealand is a world class destination for the creative arts. Especially music. With a total population smaller than that of most major cities elsewhere in the world, it is hard to believe that New Zealand has some of the finest orchestras and musicians in the world, and with numerous post-production and recording facilities, no shortage of places to work. Both the Auckland Philharmonia and the NZSO, based in Wellington are excellent and the players and recordist have everything it takes to deliver the highest quality film and television scores. When you add to it a great tax rebate for recording, it is truly a no-brainer to record in New Zealand.
